Greed is bad, this simple morality tale cautions. A megalomaniacal C.E.O. sends his son into the dangerous African Congo on a quest for a source of diamonds large enough and pure enough to function as powerful laser communications transmitters (or is it laser weapons?). When contact is lost with his son and the team, his sometime daughter- in-law is sent after them. She is a former CIA operative and, accompanied by gee-whiz gadgetry and a few eccentric characters (including a mercenary, a researcher with a talking gorilla, and a a nutty Indiana-Jones-type looking for King Solomon's Mines), sets out to rescue her former fiance. What they all discover is that often what we most want turns out to be the source of our downfall.

I am sorry, I have written in the Czech language. I'm from Czech Republic Congo is the best DVD movie Congo of 1995. Good effects, weapons sentry is good, Tim Curry is the best actor in this film. Fakticky sqìlý filmeèek. Díky za režiséovi to natoèil že ho.
I just saw the DVD release of this DivX Movie Congo years after I first saw this DVD movie Congo in the theater. I liked it more the second viewing. While most books are better than the DivX film Congo is not always so. This book Sphere were rotten and in my opinion and the Congo Mystery film "Sphere" to get a 5 / 10 from me. However, this DivX film Congo is fun and not get bored with a 7 / 10. I do not understand how anyone can justify any Congo film a rating of 1 or 2, unless they are trying to pull the rating down to a couple of his favorites is nominal. I disagree with many of the comments posted here. Amy never bothered me and the special effects were not bad. Even the action was not so bad. Sit back and enjoy the Congo Mystery movie worldwide.
Finally a DivX film Congo that combines talking monkeys, gorillas evil, and a big gun! Tim Curry is obviously at home in his brilliant writing paper that explores the dangers of human greed in a very real way. This Congo Mystery is a nonstop roller-coaster thrill ride from its beginning to its gripping final surprise! This Congo movie will serve as a lesson that a lost time, mono-inhabited city can be a place where man is not Muslim. Mr. Crichton, I salute you!
Here's a hint ... Bruce Campbell, if the Congo Mystery film is likely that the DivX film Congo is not intended to be an Oscar contender. "Congo" is very entertaining cheese, knows it, and never tries to be something more than that. Bruce Campbell and his shout of laughter, the kind of suit that the monkey knows sign language, Ernie Hudson as "The Great White Hunter ... happens to be black" (one of the biggest laughs in the film), the always reliable Tim Curry, and the so-called lost city of Zinj all joined a fun way to waste a couple of hours. If you are looking for a B-grade Congo movie with a budget of a degree, look no further. Directed by Frank Marshall, who cut his teeth producing "Raiders of the Lost Ark". As an added bonus, you get to Ogle Laura Linney, Sigourney Weaver channeling here with great effect. Ms. Linney is very beautiful, a very talented actor and always enjoy all of their actions.
