| I do not know why this film: Hidalgo has not fared better. It has first-class performances, a pretty active and compellingly fluid history, and some brilliant leadership. I must say that the meaning was the biggest surprise. Joe Johnston (currently scheduled to direct Jurassic Park 4) and Jumanji JP3. I was not very impressed with anyone, but, frankly, gives me hope for JP4 Hidalgo. Perhaps grown as a director. Hidalgo is a beautiful story of a washing cowboy and his horse in front of the beautiful Arabian desert and all its betrayals. | A wonderful DVD film Hidalgo of the horse and special relationship with humans. A complex interwoven, beautiful, with the simple story of a winning racehorse. So we all learn from this DVD film Hidalgo to preserve and protect the wild horse, and returns all wild animals, such rewards and meaning to us humans. The Hidalgo Western is beautifully acted and wonderful to see the treatment of Omar Sharif in a supporting role. It is also a healthy and honest history of self-less love and concern for others. This is a great DivX film Hidalgo for all ages. It is a must for DivX Movie Hidalgo lovers of horses. Viggo Mortensen should be one of the most interesting and least known great actor. |
| I found this DivX film Hidalgo to be one of the most inspiring I've seen in a long time. Filming was exceptional. Viggo Mortensen the horse that was impressive and he was the horse that Hidalgo was an actor. I was stuck in everything and should be regarded as an epic. This Hidalgo Western shows a lot about this piece of our past and how it began and what happened to the Indians and American Indians to Mustangs. We do not have enough of this type of Hidalgo film now. There are children who do not know these things. There are many messages in this DVD film Hidalgo that with courage and sensitivity presented. Viggo Mortensen was perfect in every way as in the horse. I found all the wonderful landscape so different from the West and only outstanding riding. What a movie. I loved it. I will see again in the cinema, and I will buy it when available. |
| Here is an "epic" which reminded me of that Hidalgo Western movie was made in the mid-1960s as Dr. Zhivago and Lawrence of Arabia. Interesting that Omar Sharif was in this film: Hidalgo today and Dr. Zhivago. The only problem is the liberal bias here, which is brutal. Several young friends who saw the film: Hidalgo said they were very disappointed that, due to anticipated, it was thought to be an action-packed adventures like "The Mummy". Well, it was not and is too slow for them. Frankly, I thought the "slow" are the best parts, and generally felt that the DVD movie Hidalgo had just the right amount of action, rather than exaggerate the recent photos mom did. Another big advantage is the cinematography. This Hidalgo Western movie is a beautiful, impressive in some places. Another good point is the language: just one word. On the negative side, there was the usual political correctness, the Dances With Wolves in which viewers are reminded repeatedly of the slaughter of Wounded Knee and soldiers are the bad guys. The horse race had some problems of credibility, too, as "Hidalgo" returned from the dead not once but twice to race as the Secretariat! Anyway, if you are looking for today's adventure story with an old story and not the problems of language, this Hidalgo movie is for you and the rest of the family. |
