I am surprised that Naomi Watts and Tim Roth go slumming in what was little more than a bad student film. In order for this type of hit movies, the public should be able to suspend disbelief and really feel the terror of the actors. Funny Games not only destroys both by having the characters speak to the audience (either by Annie Hall), but also has a pull a Zack Morris and actually rewind a scene. Couple that with the very boring and incomprehensible murderers camera angles, and what's left? It's getting boring, with half of animated film. Take a look at In Cold Blood for a better movie.

I have seen many bad movies in my time, this has to be one in the bottom of the list.In every aspect that touches the GONG. I did not expect much of what we thought was going to be a standard horror movie. Perhaps the main reason why it was so disappointed, because in moments of screen shots, dialogue and direction seemed excellent. However, it was lost in bad dialogue, mediocre performance and a poor sense of suspense. See the original. This remake is a complete waste of time.

I've seen dogs shed their best material back. Those who try to make the case that this DVD movie Funny Games U.S. is about America's obsession with violence or voyeurism miss the real point. I think the writer and the producers do not fully understand. If the DVD film Funny Games U.S. contains any subtext, is the futility of pacifism in the face of those bent on violence and try to negotiate with evil. The Funny Games U.S. Horror was full of plot holes and ending unfulfilling and pointless. It is impressive to me that they could raise the money to make this film. Does anyone read the script? Why Naomi Watts has been brought to this project? About the only redeeming part was seeing her undies in the middle of the film. I wish I had been warned about this stinker of a movie.
