Porter is a small time but tough criminal, who's primary gig, is robbery. Now his friend Val Resnick needs $130,000 to pay back a criminal group known as 'The Outfit'. He tells Porter about some Asian couriers who carry $300,000, Porter agrees to it on the condition that they split the take. When they hit them, they discover that they only have $140,000, and Resnick says that, that's what they always carry. He pulls out a gun and shoots Porter in the back and leaves him to die. However, Porter manages to make it to a doctor, and get treated, when he recovers, he sets out to get Resnick and his share $70,000. He begins by approaching an associate of Resnick's. Porter then seeks out a prostitute named Rosie, whom he knew, she tells him where he can find Resnick, when he does he tells Resnick that he should go to his employers and ask them to give him back $70,000 of the money he gave them, Resnick says that's impossible but Porter 'convinces' him to do it. Resnick then goes to his boss, Mr. Carter, who tells him that it's in their best interest to help Resnick deal with Porter. Carter orders one of his men to take Porter out but Porter's just too good for them. Resnick then asks his girlfriend who knows the people whom he and Porter stole the money from, and tells her to tell them where they can find him. When they do they are interrupted by two policemen, but they are crooked who are under the impression that Porter's going after $200,000-300,000 and are going to get it. Can Porter deal with all these people and still get his money.

I think this is a very good remake of Point Blank with Lee Marvin, Angie Dickenson, Carroll O'Conner and Lloyd Bochner. The version of Lee Marvin was very good, but there was a "black film" atmosphere to it. Point Blank has recently appeared on DVD and worth seeing. For the day it was a brutal movie. Violence in depreciation is more graphic, but the story remains strong. A key element (and a source of humor) Porter is its insistence on the recovery of $ 75,000, although the crowd thinks it's more because the theft was twice (Porter did not want their partner's share even though it was betrayed by him). One reviewer said depreciation seemed written for a DVD film Payback 1970. Point Blank was made around 1967.

I expected more humor that has made the movie. Mel Gibson has done a great job, as usual, playing someone who is not completely there. Although, in the end, the DivX Movie Payback is very predictable. Most of redemption as he was watching Maria Bello.

When I saw those for the amortization, I thought it looked very good. I just never around to see in the theater. Now, many months later, finally on view at home. I must say it was quite entertaining. Mel Gibson was good as a good guy who does not. Roba, fires, and he hits people. But who can blame him? He fired his court and court of money that was due to him. In the rest of the movie, Mel has to dodge crooked cops, Chinese gangs, mafia and to return 70, 000 that is rightfully theirs. Like the tag line says, start Mel taste and character to see him succeed in his quest. I especially liked the scene between him and James Coburn. Of course, in the end, the character of Mel appears on the road to redemption. He earned his high 70 and got life.

Well, let's get something straight. Mel Gibson is the man. It is this generation of Steve McQueen, as in "cool personified." But this film: Payback is a disappointment. There are more than a little violence. Heck, there are a lot of violence. There is much chaos horrible little room for anything else, like saying, oh, a plot. The Payback film is generic, rough and trying to be funny, as a serious Get Shorty, but not for more than an occasional laugh. Gibson and the character is flat. Yes, he is a bad guy, but this is not the problem. It is a boring bad. He has done similar roles in the past, only much better. Still amazes me that more work from Gibson Braveheart (in conspiracy theory) is largely ignored. See if you like violence and chaos and not much more.

ROI is a very good DVD film Payback that has a good cast that includes Mel Gibson, Gregg Henry, Maria Bello, David Paymer, Bill Duke, Deborah Kara Unger, John Glover, William Devane, Lucy Liu, Jack Conley, Kris Kristofferson , Elizabeth Berridge, David Tweet, Sterling Wolfe, and James Coburn! For all these actors is very good. Gibson, Henry, Bello, Duque, Glover, reeling, Lui, Conley, Kristofferson and Corburn are truly outstanding in this film. I thought it was done well. The action and excitement is very good and some of it is amazing. There are some hilarious moments in this dark picture! The Payback film is shot very well. The music is very good for Chris Boardman. Great direction by Brian Helgeland! The film: Payback is quite interesting and the Payback Crime film really keeps you until the end. This is a very good and thrilling film. If you like Mel Gibson, Gregg Henry, Maria Bello, David Paymer, Bill Duke, Deborah Kara Unger, John Glover, William Devane, Lucy Liu, Jack Conley, Kris Kristofferson, James Coburn, action, crime, the rest of the cast in the film, Thrillers, dramas, films interesting and I recommend this Payback film to see today!

This is not a remake and out of the 1967 John Boorman offering Point Blank, the structure is different from the 67 films, and although the target is a dark psychological thriller that is above the tree, this Payback Crime should be seen as a Donald E. filming Westlake 's novel The Hunter. Mel Gibson plays Porter hard as nails thief who is double crossing, shooting, and then left for dead. In this case, taken on a dark journey Porter intends to recover the $ 70,000 that he was shot and almost killed. The DivX film Payback is based solely on Mel Gibson for threatening sympathy and vengeful Porter, and is managed with a lot of credit to achieve both quality assurance. The violence and black humor to keep the trip very worrying over and interests in a scene from the Payback Crime movie established as a major thriller based on revenge. Backed by a series of characters worthy of support, a brand manager in Brian Helgeland directed short CV, but the viewer feels he was underutilized William Devane as his diabolical character refers to a classic, but it's a small complaint because it is a cheeky thriller hard and deserves at least 8 / 10 from me.
