| Almost all professional critics panne this film, saying how the above is violent from beginning to end (not true, there is violence, but not all), how the story is convoluted (which is very easy to follow - you have to be an idiot for not being able to understand what is happening), how bad is acting (lie), and how raw the sex scenes between Helen Mirren and Cuba Gooding Jr are (who worked for me). Maybe in a few years, more people discover the Shadowboxer film for them and how well it is. The DivX Movie Shadowboxer has a kind of palpable condemned the atmosphere, which serves as the brilliant, because all the main characters are seriously compromised in one way or another. This story is a dark, beautifully brought to life by all concerned. Helen Mirren takes the full weight of his amazing ability to tap into the humanity of any character that portrays Cuba Gooding Jr is perfect in a role that finally allows you to display at least some of their depth, Joseph Gordon-Levitt shines as always, Dorff comes through as always, including Macy Gray is good in this Shadowboxer Thriller and I'm not a fan. The problem, I think, is that the critics are comparing this to other films, notably Quentin Tarantino's, and this is completely unfair. Shadowboxer creates its own reality, which works very convincing for the duration of the experiment. I suggest you get a copy of the DVD, as I did, and discover for yourself. |
| Mr. Black Shadowboxer Grade: B Starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and Helen Mirren. For the first time director Lee Daniels, producer of two challenging projects, and the Monster Ball The woodcutter tries his hand behind the lens. Mirren plays a female murderer who has been diagnosed with cancer, and decides to make a final death assisted by Gooding. Shadowboxer is certainly a dark movie: Shadowboxer - think Prizzi Honor, but with a very different tone - but Helen Mirren is responsible for this "unique" relationship of love and dignity. I thought the final was not terribly hold, and should have been. I was trying to picture how a different, more experienced manager and operator. A number of crew members were there for the Q / A, including the director. Heck, even came in one of Philadelphia PA (who prefer!) Wes Bentley was scheduled to co-star, but abandoned. His role was filled by Cuba Gooding Jr., who managed to clear snow Dogs my memory. He is very good here, playing straight and very cold. In the Q / A then spoke about the differences between doing comedy and drama. He said he is carrying out functions that allow the humor to come from the actions of the character - as in this DivX Movie Shadowboxer - and not obvious comedy. Enjoyed the laughter that has his character from the crowd in the selection, when his character was reacting to situations within the plot and not "try" to be funny. |
| Now we know what a big budget Shadowboxer Thriller film Ed Wood would. From a script by Academy Award nominated writer, Academy Award winning actors and two Spirit Award-nominated film, director Lee Daniels manages to offer a ridiculous mess. The story seems to take place in some Bizarro world where everyone has too much makeup, Doogie Howser is living with a crackhead grotesque, and most of the gang acted as girlie boys. Cuba Gooding, Jr., spends most of the initiative seeks to upset or embarrassed. Joseph Gordon Levitt, Stephen Dorff and Monique give game performances, but the great Helen Mirren could not overcome Daniels' ham-handed direction. Shadowboxer while showing all the Ed Wood of the incompetence and unintentional humor, which has no charm who made a cult favorite Mr. Wood. |
| Cuba G.Jr. acts very, very well. I think this is his last Shadowboxer Thriller to date and good, if you've seen "End Game", which means ... Helen M. is a great actress of the old school, but in this DVD movie Shadowboxer shows that it has unlimited possibilities to act. Yes, history is interesting but a little fantastic, I loved the "taboo" scenes on the relationship between Rose and Mickey ... Shadowboxer movie is as to "strange" relationship: Micky Rose-precious Dr.Don, vickie-Clayton. Vickie the role of everyone in the photo ... is almost zero, I think that their only duty is to make a connection between Micky and Anthony ... Not exactly a family film, but you have to see! |
| The Shadowboxer Thriller has its faults, like the blonde wig that lasts for years and then disappear without comment, but I have to admit that, overall, the DVD film Shadowboxer was well prepared. It moves in a clip that supports the category and strange characters. Some of the pairings are great .. Are there really people walking among us who are well? I prefer to believe that only exist in the minds screenwriters. Mirren was her usual self and excellent Gooding proves that can actually act. The question is who was in love or just controlled it. Do not wait for a nude scene with a woman of her age, but was handled very well. Music are also excellent choices. I have not seen any comment on that aspect of the film. |
| When I read the description of the DivX film Shadowboxer in this case, I was expecting something faster rate than it was. The description says they run for their lives and not buy a house and live there for years. The basic idea of the story was not bad, just not moving as fast as it could have. I think Cuba Gooding Jr. 's acting is very rigid and not its usual caliber. The statement could have been greatly improved in that act and left much to be desired. Sex scenes that went too far and I feel most of them adds nothing to the story than shots of Cuba to the rear. I do not recommend this DivX Movie Shadowboxer to anyone unless they are really bored or want to see Cuba naked. |
