Dear Diary: Veronica Sawyer is sick of being part of the Heathers, the most powerful clic of Westerberg High; making fun of Martha Dunnstock ('Dumptruck'), the fat girl, or doing some stupid polls is something she'll never get used to. Meanwhile she meets JD, a cool rebel guy who wouldn't mind shooting a gun at school just to make his point. Remington University's party is where Veronica has to go as a Heather, and there's where she gets her ultimatum as a Heather from Heather Chandler, the head of the Heathers. So Veronica and her lover JD 'accidentally' kill Heather Chandler and manage to cover it up by making a suicide note. Will this be just the beginning of the assasination-turned-suicide serie of Westerberg High which nor the FBI, the CIA or the PTA would be able to stop? Or will Veronica be able to pull herself together and stop her psychotic lover from killing absolutely EVERYONE at school?

This is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. The writer was brilliant to get a copy dialogue. It gets very dark at times, but if you have a sense of humor should be able to enjoy this movie.

This film: Heathers has a lot of different mixes of it. It was very funny, but then again twisted and scary! Then it was kind of sad, and romantic! The actors are brilliant and really brought a lot more than the movie. I thought it really opened our eyes to enable them to realize that not everyone's life is perfect and some things are not what they seem. And some of those things, we have to pay little more attention.

Heathers when I first saw video released in the UK, and quickly became a favorite of all time. The screenplay is sharp, funny and sometimes clever, and the humor is black as can be - not qualities you normally associate with a relatively mainstream U.S. DVD film Heathers at the end of the 1980s. Slater is excellent, Ryder is excellent, but the cast really check the film. Here is something that blatant when playing with stereotypes such as sweet irony here - no great performances, much of the humor that has been lost. Slater is the new kid in school, the popular girl attracted his Ryder Nicholson-esque rebel. Sparks fly between them, and the result is a scene about "suicide" of her school's most popular students. It is a choice film, which has aged well and will keep you laughing as new emerging gags - there are new layers with familiarity, it is recommended to see repeated.
