Jack (Daniel Day-Lewis) lives on the site of his abandoned island commune with his 16-year-old daughter Rose (Camilla Belle). My choice for men Oscar winner so far this year is Daniel Day-Lewis as an eccentric father of a precocious child in The Ballad of Jack and Rose.
