| Just finished watching, can not say I was impressed. It starts very good, the visual and the atmosphere gives a chilling feeling that this kind of movie: Dark Floors should be. But everything ends when the first Lordi monster appears. Not only is recognized from the band Lordi, but are seriously malplaced in the film. Doomsday monsters with leather jackets and piercings are so 80's. As the story begins with similar horror movies, people trapped in a hell hole. But there is no clear story about why and what is happening. The viewer is thrown a few lines about the possible reasons, but the lines never meet and end at anything but a mess. With all the money spent on this DVD movie Dark Floors with an intriguing start and some good effects, I had thought that someone had taken better care of the product. Lordi made me wonder if this DVD movie Dark Floors only to demonstrate that their dresses would show fear (unless they are not). So the movie: Dark Floors is the credit for the images, I suppose that the money had to go somewhere. But the rest is a shameful attempt at a rock band on stage to make your monster aka alarmist. |
| While in the hospital for a CT scan of the brain of autistic daughter Sarah (Skye Bennett), Ben (Noah Huntley) is upset when a power failure. Decides to leave the hospital with Sarah, while the nurse Emily (Dominique McElligott) tries to convince Sarah to leave for further treatment. They get the elevator with three other passengers, and suddenly the elevator stops, when the door opens, people have disappeared from the hospital, the environment and are rarely pursued by evil monsters. They find they are trapped in the hospital, and the creatures seem to be hunting Sarah. "Dark Floors" is a weird and strange journey to a troubled mind of an autistic child. The fascinating story is dark and has a promising start, but the conclusion is disappointing. The performance of Skye Bennett, disturbing the atmosphere and the special effects are the plus of this film, Emily is a pleasant and by Dominique McElligott, however, it is impossible to feel empathy for the lead and important character by Noah Huntley .
