| An interesting plot failed due to poor writing and acting. Intrigued by the cover art and the abstract, I have chosen this title bargain bin at some super-mart store. I was prepared for the normal straight to DVD with the quality toilet humor, a lot of meat, and all the "National Lampoon meets American Pie"-style experience. Instead, he was brutally disappointed. Stuttered throughout the film: Cougar Club unevenly. Jokes (if you can call that) never crackled or clever joke. The scenes were broken while being ridiculously transparent. And the characters, from the players to the interests and love, even the little players cameos were sadly one dimension. Some characters disappear from the DVD film Cougar Club almost entirely simply reappear later without explanation. Perhaps worst of all, the movie: Cougar Club lived up to its seductive promise. Apart from 1 or 2 short exceptions, pumas were left out of the film. Very lack of a "guilty pleasure"-style movie. At least show us some kind of action. Overall, a very poor showing. I feel bad for some of the actors / actresses, as they are certainly the victims of the lackluster script, and lame attempts at humor. You'll do better with almost any of the other titles in the genre that promise a lot of women in skimpy clothes. |
| The film's plot and the perfect time. Portraying the pure aspect of what a "Puma" is through the casting and acting. Its definitely a cheesy comedy, but what the public is seeking at least what I was looking for. Its essence, a national lampoons film: Cougar Club style - which compare to a Van Wilder or Old School style movie. I am looking forward to the full release to see it again. Good quality writing and production and seems to be made with a budget much higher than what was estimated. It's always good to see this in an independent film. |
| I did not know what to expect ... but in the end is just another form of a screw ball comedy. The first half hour is a collection of jokes from the basement (which means we could not get worse), then there is a slight improvement during the rest of the film. Simple plot characters. There is no way to write a spoiler because there is nothing to spoil. I love comedies, but there was not any fun I could laugh about. I would not say it is a complete waste of time, is a Cougar Club film to see in a rainy Sunday afternoon when you have to do anything else. Watch it and forget it. But I have to admit that the "Cougar," especially Izabella Scorupco and Carolyn Hennesy, are eye candy .... great looking (that's why I give 4 stars rather than 0). |
| My advice: Do not waste your time watching this movie. I came with a hope to see a good film, with actors such as Isabella Scorupco. but in reality this is just a clever piece really annoying jokes or without a good story ... actors lame and boring script. that tragic to see what good that actresses can fall to this kind of jobs ... my eyes fill with tears, as a result of the disappointment that this DivX film Cougar Club offers. i try to find a meaning or a plot, but this is just a complete mess of horrible act, and a bad story written by the director. just to see naked girls and Isabella Scorupco. maybe you'll find fun, but I suggest you go rent a Cougar Club Comedy instead of real dirty this, or a comedy film. you should spare me from the disease after spending more than an hour ahead of this shit. remember: time is money ... at least should not spend watching it. |
| I was expecting good things from the movie, but it was very disappointing. Once I river, or even give a smile during the movie. I was thinking when this more. It's like a comedy with comedy NO. The DivX Movie Cougar Club does not keep my attention and I found myself thinking about other things. I was expecting to be like American Pie with a twist, but nothing like American Pie. I've never been so bored watching a movie. Not long ago I finished watching the Cougar Club Comedy and I can not remember what happened there.
