Guy Cooley moves to an old farm in Princeton with his wife Jeanne Cooley and their two daughters, Molly and Lucy, to build eight windmills to generate clean power to the city. This is a smart, thoughtful thriller that really digs into the link between a mother and her daughter. Stimpson John does a great job juxtaposing the family life of a 21st century family with 250 years-old folklore story. Having lived all my life in New England that may be related to the story and telling old stories and how they become part of the fabric of a small town. The symmetry between Lucy Keyes, who disappeared in 1755, and the modern Lucy has fallen into the field with his family is great.
