I had the pleasure of beating the two Max Payne 1 and 2, so start by saying I like this game a lot. At least I expected a dumb, entertaining action film. What surprised me was to find a MAX Payne movie so bad it made me really impressed by Mr. Moore put his name in the credits. In games, Max is pushed over the edge and goes into a rampage of revenge and survival. He works his way up from one person to another and from time to time, has crazy dream sequences. Throughout there is a dry wit and extremely exaggerated noir dialogue. It's so over the top, it is hard not to want. I have no idea why the filmmakers decided not to pursue this argument quite basic configuration, because the substitution is absolutely horrible. The DivX film MAX Payne swings from scene to scene, alternating making any sense at all to Max and any other character in the DivX film MAX Payne seems complete idiots. What is more surprising is that the MAX Payne movie can not get on the bases. This is the worst DVD film MAX Payne I have seen addressed in more than a year. It's pretty, but the action is low and boring. The talks are shot so badly it is not surprising that the entire theater is laughing at most of the scenes. At least one player becomes a spectacle so hard to be declared legally dead. And for the "stay true to the game" part? Well, there were some shots in slow motion, but beyond that, style, humor and action on the top is missing. Well, I'm done. Still can not believe that the MAX Payne Crime was bad. Oy! |
First, let me say that I am a fan of video games. So, like others who have commented here and in fact wanted a fun movie. Do not expect it to be worthy of Oscar or anything like that ... just a fun time at the movies. That said ... I was very disappointed by this movie. Actually, that's being nice about it. This was a poorly executed story that came out almost. Really, really bad. The images are good, but there are too stylized THOSE even see sometimes painfully funny (most of the time). It seemed they were trying too hard. And for an action movie, there is a lack of action for the first 3 / 4 of the movie. Now, the acting ... I honestly thought I was watching a DivX Movie MAX Payne student with some of the scenes. It's just ridiculous. Mark Wahlberg was OK at best. Donal Logue - horrible, Mila Kunis - out of place ... the only bright spots are Chris O'Donnell, Olga Kurylenko (who is smoking hot). In a nutshell ... I do not recommend this DivX Movie MAX Payne to anyone. I'm not even sure how this was to be honest. Especially with the amount of money being poured into it. Surprisingly bad. |
"I do not believe in angels, but I believe in pain ..." Those opening lines of the DivX Movie MAX Payne can only mean one thing, threshing bull ****. I do not know what people along the Fox Studios was doing when the object of making a DivX Movie MAX Payne of one of the best Shoot 'em up, black movie: MAX Payne inspired, and the heart racing videogame franchise arose for discussion. Surely it was not "Hey, we have to play the game to see what this thing is." Nope. It's more like "Hey! This game did a lot of money. Somebody tell me what quickly the back of the box says about the game and we're going to write a crappy script and miscast all around him." Mark Wahlberg plays Max Payne, the brutal, unimpeded and revenge for the police video of the same name ... but wait! Almost everything that rewrote the character. I could not seem to give a rats ass about his wife and son killed except for a few flashbacks bland. The act is so out of place in this MAX Payne movie and frozen and the addition of the likes of Mila Kunis, Chris O'Donnell, ridiculous (holy crap to think about what?), Beau Bridges and really do not give much of a leg to position. To summarize all this, I felt like falling asleep during the film: MAX Payne (a feat not so easily for me). This was an action MAX Payne movie became a drama with some boring sequence of shots. Do not waste your money. Rent "Shoot Em Up," instead |
I played this game only once, many years ago, so could not say how this MAX Payne Crime film is different from the game, but I know that many fans are disappointed by this game film. A judge could still as action movie. All the action sequences, but it was a little out of them. If you would like to make a MAX Payne film based on games of action, not just try to keep a game, I would as far as possible in the same action. The argument was so often used in other action films that gave me a headache. Altought there is some originality in it, like the Viking thing. The DVD movie MAX Payne is well directed and there are some beautiful images, so it is not watchable. So if you're looking for a good action movie, this would not be the best option, although there are some great action sequences. |
Pain maximum, minimum Entertainment! I had to sit through this, because I was driving everyone home. Most movies based on games have a bad reputation, and this is no different. It has no entertainment value at all, if I can give a score of less than 1, I would! Even if you enjoy shooting stupid movies, this MAX Payne film is a disappointment. This MAX Payne movie has it all: CGI bad, worse: Characters, Plot exaggerated and silly! Please, do yourself a favor and not go see this movie! |
