I am amazed by the special effects in this thriller Abbott and Costello. An invisible man managed to smoke? How? This is a fun, and kids spend most of their time talking to a man who can not see! Creepy for the moment ... now curl up with him on a rainy day. This is a great way to enjoy Bud and Lou crime capers! |
This one caught on a rainy afternoon in a "channel of the comedy" special. A & C are quite amusing, but does not contain many of their classic sketches, but what I was special effects, which are almost comparable to those of The Man, published half a century later (although the final scene looks like something ATTACK OF WOMEN 50 feet). good vehicle for A & C, a good plot, 6 / 10 |
In "Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man," the detectives Bud Alexander (Bud Abbott) and Lou Francis (Lou Costello) are to protect a man framed for murder. This proportion is easier when the man gives himself an invisibility serum. Some of the best scenes is when Lou watches disappear, when you see a cop (or rather not see) the man was driving a car or even a scene in which Lou accidentally puts a lot of people to sleep. The final scene is a surprise. These films sometimes seem as if they were all just excuses to goof off. If so, then did so. This was also helped by the fact that it had no songs, sometimes weakens A & C films. Really fun. I guess I'll have to see this again, now that I know Fred Mertz appeared in it. |
Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man-*** Here we are again, into another Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man Sci-Fi film Abbott and Costello. This time, special effects highlighted by the original invisible man, and Abbott and Costello comedy is at its best. This is one of the best movies of them, most others are a bit slow and boring. Here, its exciting and fun at the same time. That's when Abbott and Costello are really nice to see. Surely too many of the same jokes, but at least there are some new, too. I've never been a big fan of Abbott and Costello, however there are a couple of his films that really do love. I particularly like his short skits, because they generally tend to be fun. Here are some of my other favorites: Who's on first? Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein-Micah Knapp |
After "... Meet Frankenstein," The Invisible Man makes a cameo, so when he first arrived, many may have felt that this would be a sequel. Of course not. In my humble opinion, the comedy team of a roll, and this was one of his best efforts. Invisibility gag worked well throughout the film, and a sequence that Costello was working in a gym with a punching bag light was a high point. Major spoiler: The sequence of the movie: Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man was an unnecessary sight gag. Costello is invisible for a few minutes, and when you can see again, that has changed in a way that nothing prepared for the hearing. And it was not very funny. The DVD movie Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man would have been better without him. |
Bud Abbott and Lou Costello were an incredible team of album endeared to their fans with the type of humor that projects; of them is kind of fun with a lot of good jokes that made light of the favorites in a duet at the movies a long time. Universal, the studio decided to introduced a series of films in which the "monsters" in his list. This DivX Movie Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man is not one of those, but by the use of the incredible visual effects employed in the use of visual effects in the "invisible man", became a winner from the start. This was one of the best Abbot and Costello's best film. They do an excellent job under the direction of Charles Lamont. Arthur Franz, who is not "seen" is sufficiently good as Tommy, the man accused of a crime he did not commit. Sheldon Leonard is one of the gangsters who are manipulating boxing. Nancy Guild and Adele Jergens are welcome additions to the film. Best of all are the scenes involving boxing Lou Costello in the amazing new boxer, Lou, "The Loop", which is going to beat Rocky, his opponent in a better position with a little help from his invisible friend. |
