| I liked this film, simply because the end was not what anyone thought it would be. Looking at the world today .. What do you see? Kill! Everyone tries to get ahead in life and do what ever they can. Not everything in life is so happy and films should not always play a happy ending to the fairy tale. That is not how it happens. The girl is not always the type that does not happen at the end in real life. And in this Little Black Book movie is more important to find herself and follow her dreams, however, was still a happy ending without humans. It is enjoyable to see what actually was found and moved to follow his dream. Having a job with his idol and make something of yourself means more than getting a guy at the end. Be happy with yourself because of the obstacles overcome to reach a point where I dreamed of your whole life is better than winning a man who does not belong to you, first, because his heart was with someone else all the time they were together. Nothing in life is always fair and this Little Black Book film makes that statement true. We can never have everything we want. |
| I saw this on DVD a couple of days ago and was pleasantly surprised. I have to say, Brittany Murphy is a good actress and that certainly has his own situation comedy. Although this is a comedy, playing the character of the (semi) straight-man role and making the film, allowing the other characters around him (like Holly Hunter, Kevin Sussman and Stephen Tobolowsky, in particular ) in some parts funny brilliance. The use of music throughout Carly Simon was a nice touch too, instead of the formula for the soundtrack to bubble-gum stuff a bunch of other films use. The end is especially good and makes this whole movie: Little Black Book is worth checking if given a chance. It starts a little slow, but once it picks up the pace, was pleased he got shot. Rent if you want a different kind of romance story. |
| This was one of the worst movies I think I've ever seen. I ended up finishing just so I could make that statement, no doubt. Can a Little Black Book Romance film with a plot and viable premise (that a statement can only be done after arriving at what might have been a unique and insightful climax) are really so bad? Yes, this is the case with Little Black Book, a DVD movie Little Black Book that I saw Ron Levingston think that it could not make his oddball talent no less entertaining. And yes, I condemn this DivX film Little Black Book as a girl, maybe a smaller DivX film Little Black Book EVER ( "chick movies" usually have to engage boys characters can not seem to write - not this one). Is it just a gender thing and if you bother with girls as Swingers like me with this? Levingston as Goofy would have been better after all. |
| After all of the fashion for this movie, I really thought it would be good, but the first time I tried to see through what I did about 15 minutes before realizing that no one pays attention to a word you say. I tried to see him again for the benefit of the doubt and I was really disappointed. Brittany Murphey Normally I like movies, but not only attention to this story. The previews made it definitely better than I thought it was, and while some parts were good, most of the Little Black Book film was not good. I would not recommend spending money on rent, if it is a Little Black Book movie channel, then it may give you the time, who knows, maybe some like. |
| It is very easy for a Little Black Book Romance movie like Little Black Book quickly to be labeled as a "Chick Flick" starring a 20-something actress who is beautiful. But in reality after you take a chance on a genre that usually run away from, I must say this was an enjoyable experience. Brittany Murphy (idea), stars as the career-driven journalist to have a girl associate producer working on an Oprah type talk show. One of his fellow producers, played by the very-hot-for-your-old Holly Hunter gives you the usual talk of the business of how things are run. Ideas for a reunion with executive producer (played by the hilarious character actor, Stephen Tobolowsky, who met last month) the idea of snooping boyfriend is thrown in a little black book or in this 21st century, a Palm Pilot. The DivX film Little Black Book manages to avoid the usual cliches and chicken movie: Little Black Book gives us a central character with a copy of the history and more than one dimension (to make Mandy Moore). The great soundtrack of Carly Simon (who makes a cameo), provided a positive force for Diane Sawyer (?), This Little Black Book Romance has heart and a wicked sense of humor when it comes to talk shows to expose their secrets, lies , entertainment and pure souls. | I found myself really enjoy this movie, laughing out loud at the jokes and situations. Sure, there are a lot of things that 'can not really happen, but .... what if they do ... Look for example at the Three Stooges, Laurel and Hardy, The Marx Brothers. That never expected to see anyone in situations where there are these comics, but there are still enjoying their antics! If you are looking for a Little Black Book film based on fact, this is not the one to watch ... but if you want to have fun, go for it! I hope you enjoy it as I have! |
| After seeing this film, I must say that is probably the worst decision of my recent past, to spend money on it. This DVD film Little Black Book is so god-awful. Brittany Murphy portrays a bride who is clever and intuitive, yet have no idea. Suspicion and doubt about the ulterior motives of all, it gives us the answer to the rhetorical question posed in the beginning (the answer to which, incidentally, is exactly what you'd expect). This Little Black Book Romance movie seems unable to decide if he wants to be another fun film: Little Black Book or futile to try to get some serious philosophical and through. Fails miserably in both. The action is dull, and there is no interest in trying to understand the characters (the poor writing makes the viewer take the extra effort to figure themselves that frankly is not worth it). Recycling cheap laughs (singing in the bathroom) are so stupid and the whole DivX film Little Black Book seems like a commercial for a particular musician that I think is so good at creating moving songs in this Little Black Book Romance movie is getting good reviews. Basically, I warn you not see this very strongly: the characters go on a trip, but apparently intended to leave in the dust as they do, lackluster performances and lame jokes emphasize the diversity of the land so that any potential this Little Black Book movie has had to be decent and it throws down the drain. |
| Well, this has to be one of the worst "romantic comedies" I've seen - it's a completely unbelievable plot, with a very easy HATEable heroin - which, indeed, throughout overacts rioja film. There are too many close-ups in the last 15 minutes of Brittany Murphy quivering lips and tears in their eyes - it removes any sympathy that might have been tempted to feel self-involved egomaniac for her character. And any rom-com that leaves the viewer at the end of a tortuous two hours with no idea of how a romantically happy ending, the heroine (if one really cares or not) or if there is any chance that you may die in an accident terrible can be summed up with "a full and complete waste of my time" - which I will never go back! |
| I found this almost Unwatch, in fact, I am not sure that I stopped at a Little Black Book film Tivo many times to go do other things. If you're a fan of cringe-inducing moments embarrassing this may well be a fantastic film: Little Black Book for you. If you're like me and find these things not as funny as sad or painful, probably not. I have seen largely on the strength of Holly Hunter and Kathy Bates, two of my favorite actresses. Kathy is fine, but is not really a main character. Holly receives a lot of screen time and gets to play an interesting range. In any case, what I'm asking the fourth act makes it all the (possibly) worth the wait. It is an exciting, nasty turn, and for me was the reward for what would otherwise be unmemorable. The fifth act is a good rule of recapitulation. |
