| I am a huge Tenacious D fan, and I think this is not the funniest DVD movie Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny in the world, but more entertaining. It is not a laugh a minute, but that's not what the D is intended. I went to see the film: Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny all the HBO shows, memorize two albums, which makes it even more enjoyable. Within a lot of jokes in recent albums by Tenacious D, and HBO shows. Since I knew the new album already knew about 40 minutes of the Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny Comedy movie because it is a musical comedy. The sale of tickets for the film: Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny will not be much, but food sales are always high (no pun intended). I will admit, I absolutely loved the movie. It is a surreal, absurd, hilarious and detailing the Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny movie (fictional) origins of the band Tenacious D. The best way to determine if this movie: Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny is for you is to watch an episode of the HBO series. If you like what you see in so far as to sit through the shows for ninety minutes, that in this movie. Its refreshing to see a main Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny film with no recourse to a wide audience. Its difficult to make an assessment of the non-linear film, so I will mention some of my favorite scenes. The opening to explain the pain I had in house JB is the most fun of the whole movie. The rest does not live up to the impressive opening sequence, but its fine. The mushroom trip with Sasquatch is disorienting and surreal. The formation of JB to become a rock musician by KG is great too. Finally, find some funny cameos by Tim Robbins, Ben Stiller and Meat Loaf. In the end, Tenacious D is probably best enjoyed in the half-hour episodes, but fans of the show is much to enjoy here. Definitely not for everyone, but one of the funniest movies of the year. | Probably the best comedy in a long time. keeps you laughing nonstop! He is good and there are plenty of hilarious cameo as Ben Stiller as the guitar shop guy. The plot was not as good as I expected, but it compensates for the comedy. I can only hope for a sequel because we still can do much more. Although it was 1 hour and 40 minutes i still wanted more at the end:) also there is a scene after the credits is actually one of my favorite pieces from the movie! I suggest to anyone who enjoys a good comedy and definitely suggest it to fans of The D or Jack Black. You should also buy the album, the songs are so damn catchy and hilarious, the music is Top Notch. |
| I've been waiting for this movie: Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny for so many years! The best part is worthy of my visions! This is a MUST SEE for any true Jack Black or Tenacious D fan. It's so wonderful to see JB and KG Lee on the big screen! It is not a true story, but who cares. D is the greatest band on earth! I had the soundtrack of the DivX Movie Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny last week and listened to it non stop. To view the DivX film Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny was pure joy for me and my hubby. We have met the two Jack and Kyle after 2 different concerts by Tenacious D, and also saw when touring with Weezer. We left the concert after the D was playing. Nobody can show your superior! | If you're like me and you bought the new album by Tenacious D on the day he left and went into the Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny Comedy knowing all the lyrics of all songs .... then no doubt enjoy this film. Yes, I am biased as a huge fan of Tenacious D, but I really like this Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny Comedy that made me laugh a lot. This DivX Movie Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny was everything you expected. Comedic genius backed by great songwriting and some great cameos from Ben Stiller and Tim Robbins. In particular, they enjoy Tim Robbins part. However, if you are unfamiliar with Tenacious D's HBO series and fantastic debut album, this can not have the same impact in the comedy. I still recommend you go see it because it still is worth every penny of the entrance and you will smile even if not all points in time. |
| I was lucky enough to win free passes to the preview POD. Let me tell you, from the previews I excited to see it! The film: Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny totally rocked! What I really liked was the fact that JB was in his element. With other films like "School of Rock," which makes namby pamby music for children and families, but this music is obviously all. I took my brother and my sister to see it, and they basically laughed the whole time. There are a couple of places where I wonder what the hell they were thinking, because some items are a bit disjointed, but for the most part was great. Many of the times does not seem like a low budget film, so it is an advantage. What I was most surprised about was Dave Grohl as Satan. That is f-ing hilarious! You honestly do not know by watching the movie: Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny this is it. I say that if you're a fan of rock and are in JB, KG, and / or Tenacious D, go see the movie. Be prepared for a lot of references to drugs, a lot of four-letter words and some skull crushing rock! |
