| "High risk" is not only a good Van Damme movie, but it is probably one of the best action films in recent years. The story is well written (for an action movie), and it's fast. Director Ringo Lam ( "City on Fire") impressed the audience with excellent action sequences. This is definitely the best of Van Damme in turn as an actor. Natasha Henstridge makes a decent turn as the damsel in distress, and creates good chemistry between her and Van Damme. I do not see why this was a big failure in theaters, is undoubtedly the best of Van Damme in the heart and a thrilling action movie. |
| Damme, Jean Claude made the big screen with this film. Co-starring the sexy Natasha Henstridge (still pending when he was a good pregga's). There are decent sexual innuendo, but nothing ever progresses to what made me rent this movie, as I am sure thousands of spectators expected after watchign species. I mean, should have been secured with a B, Van Damme as an actor and a Hollywood tart Henstridge, who sounded like an unbeatable combination. However, there are decent fight, and I will cut a break JCVD is old and, despite looking like a 30 years old. Worth seeing because it has good grades and perv action. The formula that thrived for decades as Hollywood. Keep up the good work guys! |
| This is Jean Claude Van Damme from the old movie, which shows that it is actually an actor and a martial artist. His character and image of the characters are very convincing, none of the stupid gurning and smiling from previous roles he has played. Ignore the twins story aspect of the Maximum Risk Action film is not a retread of Double Impact, and the films could not be more different. JCVD is a problem for many fans of martial arts can find this Maximum Risk film a little smarter, and the usual cinema Goeran simply because I do not see there is JCVD, which is really a pity, because its not a bad film: Maximum Risk at all .
