| I've seen the old black and white version of Frankenstein and I've seen the version of Frankenstein HAMMER HORROR, entitled The Curse of Frankenstein, and while both are excellent, and are not as good as MARY SHELLY Frankenstein! We Victor Frankenstein, who is going to college to study science. He is a very ambitious and wants to study what they dare not teach school, so the dead back to life! So we meet a man who works in this school, which is curious about the same things that Victor is, but for some reason, refuses to let Victor take too far. Then, when that man dies, there is nobody to stop Victor from taking his experiment to the next level! This is a MUST SEE for any fan of Frankenstein. For those of you who know the story of Frankenstein by the old Universal Monster Movies, the DivX film Frankenstein takes the story of Frankenstein, and the story of the bride of Frankenstein, and combines. But with a little bit different and a better ending. There is a lot more violence in this movie: Frankenstein in the old Black and White versions, but still the same story line. Robert De Niro gives an outstanding performance as the monster. I could not believe that he was on the screen. I've never seen one act in part as before. But he pulled it off fine, and nobody could have done better. You gotta check out this movie, believe me, you will not regret! |
| Robert DeNiro starts as a long John Silver type character and a kind of revenge ends maffiosi Frankenstein. "Revenge of Frankenstein ..!" I knew it was going to say that. I shamefully the only laughter in the audience, especially when used by a French meat cutter "operations" and stitches - monty pythonesque plastic surgeon. The floating / rotating the camera work is annoying and in most scenes of people seem to be always running and dashing around the place. Also, some dialogue "These people that I am composed of" - very funny. I would love to see the output of this movie: Frankenstein takes as Kenneth Branagh, seemingly, it is difficult to keep a straight face and laugh at Niro all the time. |
| Robert De Niro as the monster, I would never have thought in my life that was him. The reason I gave this Frankenstein Sci-Fi movie is 10 because, like Dracula (Bram Stokers) said that not only a horror story but a story of love, hope, reason and above all revenge. Frankensteins monster that we see here is just a bag stitching the flesh, but being with a heart and conduct. The story begins with a young Victor Frankenstein and continues throughout their college years with Prf. Waldman, Frankenstein the man who gives a flicker bulb to begin their experiments with resuscitation. After losing her mother to a terrible child birth, Victor Frankenstein is again faced with the death of Prf. Waldman, and decided to steal Waldmans notes from home after his death and read about the steps that are left Waldman, The resuscitation of a lifeless object. It shows us how the monster learns to read, and in doing so, finds that its creator, Dr. Victor Frankenstein is to blame for its ugliness and repulsive in the eyes of the public concerned, this leads to making the journey to seek revenge the physician. Overall a fantastic story and an incredibly funny movie. |
