| Gattaca is unfortunate that he did not well at the box office in 1997. However, it has become a kind of cult DivX Movie Gattaca and people are beginning to rediscover on video and DVD. I think it may have something to do with the recent innovations in genetic engineering and the success of the three main leads. The first half of the Gattaca Sci-Fi is very intense and suspenseful, as well as a canvas for many ideas on the theme of identity, social class and elitism, fate and destiny and control. Ethan Hawke does a great job in the fraudulent Vincent, Jude Law and is taken as entertaing ladder. See this movie: Gattaca if you feel as thought after the Gattaca film and the Gattaca Sci-Fi has little action. I think this movie: Gattaca will become a classic of science fiction in the years ahead, and Sci Fi too dumb aspirants as Armageddon and the mission to Mars have been forgotten. |
| Science fiction is not my favorite genre (I'm a human being more than dramas, dark comedies fan - or anything that means less meat and more steel), but there are some titles of this genre that fascinates me. "Gattaca" is one of them. This is probably the best science fiction of the 90s, a thoroughly entertaining and fascinating story of a genetically imperfect man (Ethan Hawke) who assumes the identity of a member of the elite genetics (Jude Law), but lives in a nightmare when he becomes the prime suspect in a murder. The movie: Gattaca is set in a not too distant future, "and although we see the technology is quite advanced, do not rely on special effects to dazzle our eyes (the discreet but stylish art-direction is a feast for the eyes, However, Michael Nyman, and provides a great musical score). This is a great story with emotional punch and provocative ideas, and although not fast enough for the generation of Michael Bay, it's not complicated, such as the monumental puzzle-Kubrick classic "2001: A Space Odyssey" (1968) or Terry Gilliam "12 Monkeys" (1995, another great, if not erroneous, science fiction of the 90s) - which means it can be enjoyed by anyone who likes a good story. Quite possibly the most fascinating - and underestimated - science fiction story of the decade (oh, and Uma Thurman is always a pleasure to see!). 10/10. |
| A fascinating story with a futuristic dystopia dire warning, it seems strangely beautiful, with a color scheme with a yellow glow around the front of the camera. As for the Gattaca movie itself is full of interesting ideas, and at least during the first half hour or so, these are well explored. The film, unfortunately, is lost in an assassination plot to the center, and this leaves to explore the most fascinating in detail. Even so, manages to be relatively grip, and there is something more than the murder plot that's not all so good about the film. Michael Nyman's music is simply beautiful, but it is exaggerated, and while on the subject of excess, the symbolism of the sea may have played a little more. The narrative is not the best, neither is the performance of Thurman, but the Gattaca Sci-Fi always manages to maintain a kind of seduction. The sets are great to watch, and Jude Law is an intriguing early action. If science fiction is not perfect, this is definitely worth a look. |
| Gattaca've had for a long time and just never around to see it.I had always considered the case of DVD, but then I started again and look else.After something I had seen some other movies with celebrities Gattaca, in which I thought it was time I looked Gattaca.I was very surprised at how satisfying this thriller and was.It was nice and tasteful together, played by famous people without any screw-ups, and the story line is really different and astonishing.This is a wonderful film: Gattaca that positively could not believe I had never seen before, because it was so thrilling.It was a real pleasure to see this DVD film Gattaca and I would say that Uma Thurman was a of the best performances, although a good rate of Jude Law as well. |
| This Gattaca film takes me to my desert island. I noticed that on many occasions over the years and continue to be amazed by their perfection. The script, casting, direction, lighting and music combine wonderfully appropriate to create something inspirational and moving. The retro style is used to great effect, it is a device often used in films and in this case it seems that the Gattaca Sci-Fi film out of any fixed time frame, not be distracted by futuristic images or special effects, so can concentrate on the essentials and the immediacy of the material. How nice touch that allows us to feel sympathy for both programs to succeed as doomed to failure. Unlike her brother who, in theory, should not fail to achieve all its objectives, nothing is expected of Vincent, with great value, which could reach the stars, he had nothing to lose. I thank the writer and director, Andrew Niccol, for his great creation. |
| Gattaca is a disturbing vision of what the future may offer. Gattaca takes the concept of George Orwell, 1984, and that pushes it further. Not only is big brother watching, but babies are genetically engineered and taking samples of blood and urine in the day to day to segregate the "strong" from "weak". Hitler would have been proud of what "this" America has become. Gattaca is a visually stunning film. It looks sleek and sterile, which coincides with the mechanical future is trying to present. Sometimes the Gattaca movie itself seems neither black nor white, or color. Is a hybrid of two very artistic and modern. In general, Gattaca is a very good DivX film Gattaca that could have been great. Sometimes this Gattaca film dragged and left me wanting a little more action. | Disappointing. In the squares right silly. In a future where humans are either born "naturally" or genetically engineered to be perfect, a young astronaut in training (Hawke), into their predestined to die primeros'30s poses as an elite of physicists to achieve his dream of space travel. It is not an unfamiliar theme, but it has promise. Science fiction is supposed that the strain of his imagination, but not believability. Simply does not work. The blocks of the DVD film Gattaca Unglued come because you just can not believe the methods. I do not care to anyone for any reason. Just a waste of good DivX film Gattaca stock. Miss Gattaca least wait until the video and it's cold outside and you have nothing better to do. 1.5 of 5 stars. |
