| While this Oliver Twist film obviously had great potential, the result is quite unsatisfactory. While some actors (especially Leanne Rowe) are perfect for their roles, I can not help but wonder if Barney Clark was a good choice for Oliver. His lackluster performance made his character seem rather boring, and I personally felt much less sympathy for Nancy and Oliver for Dodger.
