| Good: Rather beautiful and impressive site with three scenes hundred trebuchets and archers shooting arrows of fire. Bad: The script is too predictable. Send people back in time and of course the time machine is broken, and of course there are problems with repairs and, of course, the time that passengers have problems in the right place soon enough to return to their own time. (yawn) Ignorant historical mistakes. The 100 years of war is like everything else by the extermination of French English and vice versa, civil and military. The uniforms are worn. The factions speak different languages. None of this is correct, for example, English nobles in 1357 still spoke Norman French. Annoying behavior of the main characters. Always one to another "do not do it, it kills you or yell at others to shut up and listen. Sticky way to inject more drama into a story. Tackiest all the big digital clock is used to demonstrate how little time remains until beyond the characters of rescue. |
| Time is a Timeline Fantasy film much better than we first give credit for being - even while you're watching. That said, it has problems. The dialogue is uneven - some of which was improvised? - Overwrought music and some of the most active supporters. But it's worth seeing and earn points on my part to demonstrate the nature of dismay at having to act with brutality to survive, not to mention the huge fantastic fun. Mrs Marek Åre Clair and fantastic night of battle, in particular, arrows of fire and flame of the areas is great. In a way, it's a very old DVD film Timeline ... and that's a good thing. |
| I thought this movie: Timeline was really good! I gave a 9 because I am a bit tricky, but hey! had to have the parties, or not realistic. For someone who has not read the book was very interesting. I thought the players did a good job of portraying their characters. The camera work is impressive too. It may not have had the same quality of The Lord of the Rings, but it was a damn good action / suspense / thriller. Will keep you in your toes (and if you are squeamish like me, clutching his stomach) and your heart racing. This is a good Timeline movie to watch with your family and friends, as there are lines of humor mixed in with all the action that, if caught, will have to rolling on the floor with laughter. |
| I do not know what it is I love this movie! I know that ratings are poor. Here are things that are true for me that could make this a Timeline film you like: 1) I am not one of those gushy girl who loves all the kids who walk by and, in general, if you ask me if I'm an actor favorite saying that I was not ... but ... I can not say that if you are a fan of Gerard Butler would like this movie. Your hair looks good, her accent is great! Lots of face time. 2) I LOVE period pieces. This was a combination of current period. Well, sometimes things get a little hokey, but I watch this DivX film Timeline every time you turn on (which is also unusual for me). |
| Wow, what a disappointment! I wanted this to be better than it was. In this moving movie: Timeline (and that means carrying on), it was impossible not to take-cracks on the stupid plot inconsistencies and the poor of the poor acting. Time paradox stories require more thought was given to this script. The costumes and sets, obviously has a lot of attention and are the strongest aspect of this Timeline Fantasy film - that made it pretty well - but there are "Star Trek" episodes that are more meaningful than this one. Apparently, it is quite hard to make a good DivX film Timeline from a novel by Crichton ... which is a pity that the books are quite good. |
| I must confess, while reading the book I was already thinking about what a Timeline Fantasy could be spectacular. Yes, I'm a geek and I love the detail that goes to Crichton scientist, but even without being wonderfully researched and gloriously rich historical story. Oh what a shame. My main problem stems from the inconsistency is shown by the cast throughout the film. It's not as if they can not act and Richard Donner has directed some classics, so what the hell happened? I still have not completely figured out but I'm pretty sure that the script is the culprit and adaptation, the characters had no depth and important aspects of the story was completely omitted or rewritten to try to make them more favorable to the audience. What was disappointing to see Crichton fantastic theories belittled to "accidentally discovered a wormhole." Perhaps the cast could have developed their characters a little more, but have had an uphill struggle from the beginning. If you are not intimidated by a book, then God's love to read the version before judging Crichton part in this failure. It is, in my opinion, one of his best compared with the Timeline film which is one of the worst I've seen (despite the fact that the honor is still reserved for "Sacred Cargo"). |
