| WOW, you gotta see this movie. Has a non-stereotypical male Chinese, which is quite rare in Hollywood movies. It is a drama that has some moments of comedy. It's about this Chinese American in 28 years (this as I am) living in LA struggling with his career and how the opportunity to leave their usual limit changed his outlook on life and his relationship with his father and others. There is a childhood accident and the resulting mother blame game. There is too much positive (opposite the main character) girl. I know, the story is almost exactly like Garden State, but the experiences are completely different. In fact, I love more than Garden State. There is less drug use and so rare, however, has more real-life problems and emotions. I do not mind the former, I like Garden State too, but it just makes you feel much closer to the characters. I love the scene in Shanghai. I really want to go there now. Lol. I wonder if Hayden has the opportunity to visit, while shooting the film. BTW, all the actors were great (even the potential buyer of house couple). The main actors are all sorts of emotions very convincingly. I must admit, I saw a copy of the movie. But I liked it so much that not only will I buy a legit DVD for me, I will buy a few to give to friends. It is unfortunate that there is not enough promotion of what I'm going to help spread the word myself. |
| My parents are 10 years apart. It is a really sweet story and I believe that while race or culture is a big plot, the age difference is overlooked another subject - love transcends all. The act is very captivating. Ken heats in the performance of the DivX Movie Shanghai Kiss you will like and that really WOWS that he sees. Hayden, of course, is adorable and sweet as ever with its role. His character of hope, faith and never give in attitude and desirable is contagious and inspiring! In addition, Ken finding their roots will take you back to a place that ultimately helps you see your current place much clearer and better than before! It'sa great Shanghai Kiss film about the journey and discovery, sacrifice, and ultimately love. It is a pity that this DVD movie Shanghai Kiss is not really succeed on the big screen, but the results are excellent and you have to love the voice of Hayden - who is a great singer. We hope to see a sequel. This Shanghai Kiss Romance movie is caught in big hits such as DVD. |
