| Harrison Ford returns as Jack Ryan, star of the very well done "Patriot Games", the film: Clear and Present Danger adaptation of the best-selling Tom Clancy novels. Also returning Åre Anne Archer and James Earl Jones. THE BAD - This is not so intense, especially in the first half hour, as Patriot Games and the end was a bit disappointing with a scene of action-credibility problem. Once again - it's become a tired theme of Hollywood - USA top government officials, that to the President, are corrupt, liars are not trusted. THE GOOD - It is nice to see Willem Dafoe finally play a good guy. Here are deceptively interesting villains, as actors Joaquim de Almeida, Harris Yulin and Henry Czerny, Miguel Sandoval - big names, but recognizable and good actors. Violence is not exaggerated in the here and when the action occurs, the sound is fantastic. The best action scene was shooting in the streets with snipers firing at the cars below. Positives are much more than the negatives, making this a solid thriller. |
| I do not know anyone who does not like this film, clear and present danger. There was a funny cartoon I once read called the clear and present that showed Dangerfield Rodney Dangerfield saying "I have no respect from these terrorists!" Very funny. The film: Clear and Present Danger has some cheesy moments and some patriotic moments of John Wayne to be proud. The book and Clear and Present Danger Drama movie are different, but the book, like most of Tom Clancy's books are so long that it is not possible to become like a movie. So, therefore, the Clear and Present Danger Drama focuses on the parts with Jack Ryan and the other characters are almost the same. Henry Czerny is on the top side as an actor in it and got some papers from his strong performance underestimated. Donald Moffat plays both sides a better president than any actor who would otherwise have served as a dictator half upwards. As in the book, the President has no name, just going by the name of the President of the United States of America. Philip Noyce does a good job in directing this picture. And, of course, this is one of Harrison Ford in the last great role since he was Tom Hanks and desperate for an Oscar ever since. In general, it is a great Clear and Present Danger Drama movie for everyone to enjoy. |
| I have read some very negative reviews of this film, and many are annoyed by the lack of consistency with the book despite taking is labels etc. .. I agree that the DivX Movie Clear and Present Danger does not follow the book but it is a particularly good movie, by watching the movie, not a book or a film: Clear and Present Danger for book readers to stop criticizing this level. This DivX film Clear and Present Danger is entertaining from beginning to end with a clever plot is surprising taking into account gender and credit must go to Ford and starring in another blockbuster excel. People may say it is not the most versatile actor in the world and I will not disagree, but it does what it does brilliantly, and those who do not enjoy this DVD movie Clear and Present Danger really need a good talking to. Along with Patriot Games, this is part of an impressive series of films that are much more entertaining than the books (perhaps because that I am not an avid reader) and shall keep all the viewers out there who are happy, if only for a while . |

Suspense nail-biting action sequences and explosive addition to the film, really impressive, with some military special operations added to the mix as well. The internal conflict between the Deputy Director of the CIA Jack Ryan acting Ritter and Robert is very entertaining, Harrison Ford and Henry Czerny played their parts flawlessly, and Willem Dafoe as John Clark, James Earl Jones as Admiral James Greer and Raymond Cruz Cool Chavez as a soldier Sunday. Do not miss this top-notch political thriller! |
| The makers of this Clear and Present Danger Drama is to be congratulated on a turn of Tom Clancy doorstop in a tense, closely woven thriller with an international cast of first class and believable plot. Where the previous two Jack Ryan movies stunts and relies on plot twists quite unbelievable in this Clear and Present Danger movie is a little grubby political and military incident (plus the domain of men of intelligence) and men of honor and integrity (and a Ford used under Dafoe) trapped in the center. I also like this Clear and Present Danger Drama for its subtle dig at the establishment of America and how it can be assumed to bind the weak to make their bids. The character of Clark Clancy's fiction is interesting and merits further development. Casting Willem Dafoe in the part was actually a stroke of genius, and I could easily imagine his character in the bunch to do such work if he had survived Vietnam. The fact that Dafoe is one of the most underrated actors in Hollywood that also means I like it. |
