| It is no secret that America is a crisis in health care where nearly 50 million people uninsured in this country. The story of John Q. is about their battle to save the life of his son when the hospital and health insurance companies have not achieved their young son for refusing to put his name on the heart transplant list. Two-time Oscar winner Denzel Washington does his best to bring life to this character than any other actor would not be able to do. Kimberly Elise is also admirable in his role as his wife. Anne Heche as the performance of Rebecca Payne, the hospital administrator, is pretty disgusting, because of the bureaucracy plays the role, but to do so. It can also act. James Woods plays the rich, blood-sucking doctor John Q. taken hostage along with other innocent people and hospital staff John P., but has a heart too. Ray Liotta and Robert Duvall have roles as the head of the police hostage negotiator trying to John Q. to end the confrontation. | 99/100 times you can bet that a DVD movie John Q that has Denzel Washington is going to be great! And boy, it's true! Perhaps it is 100/100, it is, however, another great movie, and perhaps my favorite Denzel John Q Drama film other than the hurricane. Let's wait and see if it remains that way! |
| Right off the bat my biggest complaint is the lack of character development before the crisis of the family. John and his wife are crying your child from the bad news, but the early scenes are so badly acted, it does not feel empathy for them. ----------*** Spoiler alert ***----- Frankly, the ending was terribly predictable. You know that the sequence of introduction of women into the fabric of the roads and would be forced to hold some degree in history. It is ridiculous to think otherwise. The movie: John Q of the hostage situation in turn degenerates by John Q. a hero. We must ignore the fact that closing one of the most active hospitals divert patients to other, no doubt, fill emergency rooms. Denzel gives a yield above the average in the second half, but this DVD film John Q does not move me at all. Another complaint I have is with the false search operation.
