| On the night of December 8, 1980, John Lennon, co-founder of The Beatles, was shot dead outside his apartment in New York City. Mark David Chapman (Jonas Ball), more or less a loner in search of an identity to get on their own, decided to induce great attention to it. Ending his shift security guard in Hawaii, flying to New York City with the full intention of killing John Lennon. It was a love-hate relationship ... Chapman loved the music, but Lennon also designed to be a fake because of all their material things. Camping out in the Dakota apartment of John, Chapman did not receive an autograph. He left and downward in a crazy place that would allow five bullets into Lennon. How true is this description is highly debatable, but fascinating for it. | John Lennon made the alleged hypocrisy ended getting killed? That is one of the GUNNING issues brought to the firing line in the film: Killing of John Lennon, The and performed by "The Killing of John Lennon." The Killing of John Lennon, The Drama film focuses on the adult life of Lennon deranged murderer, Mark David Chapman and his determination to date with the literary work "The Catcher in The Rye." It was part of his days of young adults who reside in Hawaii and arrived at Chapman's fatal trip to Lennon's home in Manhattan. Writer-director Andrew Piddington does a credible job of representing Chapman disintegration plodding manic madness. However, it was a bit out of nowhere a man with underdevelopment, slow script. Imagine unknown Jonas Ball stealing the show as the mad Chapman. I am sure it was a hard day's night to Jonas in the evolution of that character. Bola ball had to do it. It is one of the best acting performances of the year by an agent with one testicle surname. Piddington also cleverly incorporates the theme of hunger of social acceptance and popularity within Chapman's deviousness, and how humans can be catapulted into literary theory obsessively low self-esteem statements. I do not think many fans of the Beatles is twisting and shouting jubilantly with a display of "The Killing of John Lennon", but must see it more as a description of a helter skelter fable. **** Good |
| I saw this Killing of John Lennon, The Drama movie on pay per view, mainly because I remember very well that day. It's hard for me to say exactly why, but I do not think the Killing of John Lennon, The Drama works fairly. Somehow the character development does not click for me. The DVD movie Killing of John Lennon, The was a little slow moving, and I did not like the occasional surreal stocks showing freaking out, descending into madness. Technically, there are many flaws. Do not try too hard to get the right period, other than obvious things like your hair cut, car, and the presidential campaign of 1980. Also, remember that part of reading Chapman was the reason that a Christian was rigid, and even smarter Lennon of the offender of the faith on the way back to the 60s. I think it was a kind of youth counselor too. In general, there was a lot of amateurishness to recommend the production for me. |

Not only the movie: Killing of John Lennon, The Chapman track movements in the months before the fateful event, but also track what happened from the moment the murderer who shot at the infamous Beatle, until his internment in a psychiatric hospital. The image of the unknown Jonas Ball Chapman is subtle and beautifully combined with the disturbing and witty and the direction of experimental Piddington, 'The Killing of John Lennon' still makes a chilling aesthetic consideration in the mind of a murderer who only wanted to be famous. |
