| You could write this as a story about addiction and the destruction resulting from it, but there is more here. The love affair between Major and Cornish is a constant along with a great line in the way addiction affects not only their own relationship, but their relationships with others: parents, friends, acquaintances. Abby Cornish is particularly good at art young drug addict turned prostitute, his descent into addiction and the changes you made in your life are much more effective than the image of Ledger, a drug addict in love. Parents in the DivX film Candy are excellent, the subtle facial expressions to drag out fights with her daughter drug demon. They act the same way as one would expect parents to act, or at least hope that action. The final was reduced a little ball, but maybe ran out of budget. In any case, I would like to see again. It's realistic, gritty, romantic and a good case study of how drugs can ruin the most intense love. |
| This DivX film Candy is not for a number of reasons, among which is adjusted to its insistence on "drugs" for all or most of its drama. The Candy Drama has a terrible job of developing characters, or allow the viewer to care about them before we jump right to the drug problem. If you have some background, some reason to care that these two are slowly destroying themselves and their lives with drugs, could have been convinced to buy into the story. But as it was, the characters seem little more than cardboard cut. Ledger's character is a "poet", or so we say, but there is little evidence that is or even cares about words or language. There is only a free reading of a poem, or part thereof, and seems totally out of context as if it were just "thrown in" by what is bought in which he is truly a poet. Cornish and artistic efforts is a beautiful painting and scribbling on the walls, which is "read" to us by the ledger, although it was written that there is no way we could have read it. In general, the movie: Candy was boring, not well written or filmed, and not worth the time. I fear that this Candy Drama movie the highest rating has more to do with Ledger's tragic death the quality of the film. |
| I saw this DVD film Candy yesterday at the Berlin Film Festival. I thought it was absolutely fantastic. the issue of drug addiction has been seen before, but the actors in this piece really high outstanding.i something never seen before, but she knew Heath Ledger and was quite impressed with him. Brokeback Mountain has not been published only in Germany, but judging by the results in the books of this DVD movie Candy that I am even more excited to see soon. Rush was pretty good too, but this film: Candy really belongs to the main actors. more devastating to me was the scene where sweet abortion. it was really shocking and moving at the same time. There is no happy ending here (expected) but still found the DivX Movie Candy to be very rewarding to see. Definitely worth seeing! |
| This is a brilliant DivX film Candy with an excellent script, excellent acting and direction of consumption. It is dark, but very romantic. Most importantly, it's true. This is an Australian 'Requiem for a Dream, "but with much greater depth. It may not be commercial, but has traditionally been thought a Candy film about two gay cowboys would be commercial? I say well done to the producers and the whole team for their work. I would also say that this has inspired me to look for theater directors in Australia for future functions. PS.
