Set on a colorful Greek island, the plot serves as a background for a wealth of great ABBA songs which are used in remarkably appropriate ways. A young woman about to be married discovers that any one of three men could be her father. I was watching the Mamma Mia! Comedy film with my girlfriend and was not really interested, but has a very impressive list! I loved it! What a great surprise, I laughed all the way through and found myself completely invested in the plot! The acting, singing and dancing was excellent, I honestly think Streep (who looked fantastic!) Could be up to an Oscar. He is a breath of fresh air to see a cast of mostly older papers full of fun and energy! Each of the major cast members deserve an honorable mention! (BTW I'm 27, so its not like I'm bitter person, whether man! Lol) Go check it out, it's worth it!

Let's get one thing out of the way first: I used to like the music of ABBA, some of the songs are recognized classics of pop and its place in pop history is assured, but this Mamma Mia! Comedy movie (and the stage musical " association) has serenense that legacy. This Mamma Mia! film is so contributed, ridiculous, embarrassing and terribly route that should never have seen the light of day that makes Alvin and the Chipmunks seem great art. I love real music, especially Sondheim, to call this meeting to launch a few derogatory songs pop music is my humble opinion. Sweeney Todd showed what can be done when the real music to the big screen, and taking on behalf of the actors (not that you think could not sing) take the role of coordination. I was embarrassed for the actors, I was angry that Benny and Bjorn got involved with the project and felt deceived my entrance money. This trend of turning pop / rock songs of the musical group that has stopped. Now! Please, please, do not we have a queen or DivX film Mamma Mia! musical Take That. Have mercy on us.

I do not know where most of you were in, but when I saw the DVD movie Mamma Mia! did not have people singing as some have said they have experienced, which had people laughing, mostly Campy in the plot, the horrible dance sequences and song of the likes of Brosnan. The only people in the audience seems to be enthralled with the Mamma Mia! Comedy film are the generation of the seventies who were in some way relive the past with the songs. I was a DJ in the seventies and even went to ABBA concert at Northlands Coliseum in Edmonton on September 79, so it made me appreciate then and still do now. However, this Mamma Mia! Comedy film should have gone the same way and that their marriages ended in divorce. The sequences were so bad on stage, dubbing and editing absolutely horrible, and this must be the worst Meryl production. I can not believe that a prize winner of the academy bow so low as to make this piece of garbage. Therefore, save your money, expect to go on DVD, and then maybe spend your money on something better, like cats.
