If you've never been good at anything in your life, why would murder be any different? A Dog's Breakfast is a head smacking, bone breaking, fiance bashing romp, about a family that just loves themselves to pieces. Patrick has always had a somewhat combative relationship with his little sister Marilyn. But when she brings home her new TV star fiance Ryan, it's all out war. When Patrick fails to drive a wedge between the happy couple, he reaches for sharper instruments. Every family has a few skeletons in the closet; A Dog's Breakfast is the nightmarishly funny mess Patrick makes when he tries to add another to his.

The winding history and hilarious characterizations made this first DivX Movie Dog's Breakfast, A a pleasure to see Mr. Hewlett, Other reviewers have commented on the intelligent and beautiful fabric, so I will not repeat here that praise - just say I giggles my way through the film. Costumes really smart on my enjoyment of the Dog's Breakfast, A Comedy film - only enough to establish a unique without distracting from the story. Dresses of Marilyn, in particular, reveals much about her as Mrs Hewlett entertaining performance. Director of Hewlett used wide-angle shots with a stationary camera to great effect for some of the outdoor scenes that without exaggeration - the choice you did in fact added to the atmosphere of the film. Hewlett and actor Patrick hilarious expressive face and delivered a very real person, rather than the caricature he easily could have become. A little subtlety - this is NOT a horror movie! Hilarious black comedy in the style of manners "The Pink Panther 'or' A Fish Called Wanda ', yes. Horror? Not so much. That is fine by me!
You have to see this movie. I mean what else can I say, it is so funny your sides split! Well written, great actors, great mutt. The perfect combination. I was fortunate to attend the screening of BAD London in early February 2007, Mr. David Hewlett, his sister Kate, Jane boyfriend and producer of Stargate Lenic John in attendance to answer questions after the show. It's a great idea - a sort of travel book for a movie. Really an event to remember If you just go directly to a DVD - BUY IT! Wherever that is released, make your untmost to him. Well done David for his directorial debut - which will be a success. Roll on the next film
This DivX Movie Dog's Breakfast, A was brilliant. Very funny and had me laughing all the way though. Will be kept guessing until right near the end. I would recommend this Dog's Breakfast, A Comedy film to anyone who has a sense of humor. David Hewlett has done a fantastic job with this. You can see the British humor, but clearly that anyone anywhere will find this amusing. See this movie. You will not regret it. David, I hope to do more because I'll be at the front of the queue. I have not talked to a person who has not loved this movie. It's been a while since I've been so hard to see something and laughed. This is a Dog's Breakfast, A Comedy movie for the family of any age. Thank you. Sarah.
I attended the selection of Los Angeles for a dog's breakfast not knowing what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised! David Hewlett is not a very good job in the role of Patrick, the somewhat eccentric and slightly psychotic elder brother of Marilyn, played by Hewlett real life sister, Kate Hewlett. The title of the movie: Dog's Breakfast, A is quite adequate, although it may take until the end of the film: Dog's Breakfast, A to understand. Basically, the whole story is about what the dog, played by Mars, is having for breakfast. And, boy, will surprise you and possibly a little gross to see what we're having! This uproarious, black comedy is a must for anyone who likes to laugh and have a good time. It is also a must for people who likes a dark side of humor. This Dog's Breakfast, A Comedy is suitable for children of all ages. My guess is that it would be rated PG for some content. Younger children do not understand what is happening, but my daughter who is 8 years will be absolutely delighted when she comes to visit!
I was pleased to see the special screening in LA in November, and I was pleasantly surprised. I thought this would be a vanity project in order for an actor (David Hewlett), but this is one of the best comedy in the film. I want to see again because I missed bits and laughter is so high - and virtually continuous. It is absolutely brilliant. A Dog's Breakfast * deserves great news. It is a bed to do a lot of money by word of mouth. Unfortunately, I think Hollywood is allergic to intelligent films. Think "Napoleon Dynamite", but better, oh Hollywood machine! Best of all, this DVD movie Dog's Breakfast, A is very original - dark, but sophisticated, intelligent and affable. It is very suitable for the game to anyone without the lowest common denominator (ie, without fart jokes). David Hewlett is an underrated actor - rent the Canadian television series "Traders" if you can - which is quite remarkable. You can also catch him in Stargate Atlantis (which can steal a scene with only their position). I hope that "A Dog's Breakfast" gives a wider audience. I also hope to expand their horizons as a filmmaker. Write more please! Kate Hewlett is also very good, and this bond of brothers worked well. Kate plays the "straight man" beautifully. She may not have a lot of projects under his belt, but it was equal to David on the screen. She is strong, charismatic, skilled actress. She has the chops to a Dog's Breakfast, A Comedy movie on their own.
